SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has told the media that he understands the task ahead  as he prepares to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN 8 quarterfinals at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday. Kick-off is at 18:00pm.

Hunt said in football sometimes the performance can be bad but a win is what matters. SuperSport will however not field three players who are currently at the club on loan from Sundowns, with Hunt saying he will field their best players.

“We are depleted. We won’t have (Ricardo) Goss, (Grant) Margeman and Thapelo because of the loan agreement that we have with Sundowns. I don’t want to go much into that but that will affect us. Margeman has been on top of his game and he has been doing well but it’s the nature of the game,” said Hunt.

“Now we have to do with what we have and go to fight. We understand the task ahead and we have to deal with it. It won’t be easy knowing how Sundowns are and what they are capable of doing. There will be some results like TS Galaxy did but that’s in a while. We just have to go out there and remain focused on our mission and that’s to go for a win on Sunday, ” he added.
