DSTV Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns are one victory away from clinching their successive DSTV championship, this is after clocking yet another win in their premiership fixtures.
Sundowns defeated TS Galaxy 3-0 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Monday night and moved to within one result of clinching the DStv Premiership title. Although they bowed out of their quest for the CAF Champions League title when they lost to Tunisian side, ES Tunis last Friday, Rulani Mokwena’s charges have shifted focus to the local league and will be looking at completing their mission to glory this week.
A brace from Peter Shalulile in the first half and a third goal from new signing Thembinkosi Lorch, secured the Brazilians maximum points against Galaxy, also extending their 23 unbeaten league matches this season.
