Moroka Swallows FC & Coach Steve agree to part ways on amicable terms, the club confirmed in a short statement on Monday.

The club said that the separation was mutual, following several discussions between both partes, where it was ultimately agreed that it would be in the best interest of both the Club and Coach Steve to separate at this stage.

“There remains a mutual respect between both partes and the decision to separate is one both partes have welcomed. The Club wishes Coach Steve all the best in his future endeavours, and we are grateful for the contributions he has made to the Club. Coach Steve has expressed gratitude to the Club and has wished us well,” said the club in the statement.

The club is yet to announce who will take over as the reigns.

The Dube Birds have reportedly been facing some financial issues, which lead to some of their players going on strike, missing some fixtures, which ultimately led to their dismissal from the club.

Swallows is languishing on the 13th position with 19 points from 17 matches.
