Golden Arrows coach Mandla Ncikazi has said that his players’ good performance is what has contributed to his nomination for Coach of the Season Award. Ncikazi has been nominated alongside Benni McCarthy of AmaZulu FC and the Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena.
Ncikazi said that he worked with a good group of players who have done well for themselves and the team as a whole.
“It is an honour for me to be nominated alongside other notable coaches like Benni McCarthy and Manqoba Mngqithi who both have a touch of the KZN province; they are great coaches as well. They have done well for their teams this season and this just shows how many talented and dedicated coaches we have in the country. I am proud to be part of them, ” he said.
Ncikazi also took a moment to congratulate all the nominees in the different categories. The awards will be aired live on Sunday the 06th of June 2021.
” Everyone who has been nominated in the different categories is already a winner. It’s just that we can’t all get the award but we all have done well. Congratulations to every single of them and to those who will be crowned winners on the day,” the former Maritzburg United coach concluded.
