Kaizer Chiefs will be looking at collecting maximum points when they meet Lamontville Golden Arrows on Tuesday evening in their DSTV Premiership match to be staged at the FNB Stadium.

Chiefs who played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday against Moroka Swallows at the same stadium, will be hoping to register a win from Arrows, a club that has also been facing its own challenges.

Amakhosi come into this match as a wounded team, with a recent drop from the Nedbank Cup in the hands of an unknown Milford FC, Chiefs were eliminated in the last 32 stage by a 10-man Milford, an embarrassment their trusted supporters are yet to overcome, and the draw against Swallows. Chiefs will also hit the field of play without Mozambican centre-back Edmilson Dove, who was shown the red card during the Swallows match.

Arrows, meanwhile, are also coming from a defeat from Sekhukhune United last Wednesday, where they lost 1-0 at home.

The two sides are separated by just 3 points in the DSTV Premiership League Log, where Chiefs are on the 6th position with 26 points and Arrows are on the 10th spot with 23 points. Both teams have clocked 18 games in the current DSTV Premiership season.

This match will surely set the tone for the Glamour Boys ahead of Saturday’s Soweto Derby, where Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates will host Amakhosi.

The match is set to kick-off at 19:30pm, with tickets being sold at TicketPro, Spar and Boxer Supermarkets, PostNet, Shell and Sasol filling stations at R60 per ticket.
