The Premier Soccer League Prosecutor, Advocate Zola Majavu, has confirmed that two clubs have been charged by the league and that they would be appearing before the disciplinary committee soon. Majavu announced on Tuesday that both Swallows FC and Cape Town City FC would be appearing before DC on Thursday and Monday respectively.

Swallows FC have been charged with the delaying start of fixture their fixture against Cape Town City FC on the 9th of August, and also amending their team sheet without notifying their opponents and officials. Swallows will be appearing on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile Cape Town City have been charged by the PSL for failure to obtain approval from the PSL’s executive committee prior to clinching their FNB sponsorship. They will appear before the PSL DC on Monday, 22 August at 18:00.
