Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Arthur “10111” Zwane has said while he was honoured to be leading a big club like Kaizer Chiefs, he also acknowledged the mammoth task handed over to him as Amakhosi battle to stay away from relegation zone.

Zwane was speaking ahead of their clash against Golden Arrows on Wednesday evening the FNB Stadium. A hat-trick from Lebogang Manyama saw Kaizer Chiefs come from behind to beat Golden Arrows 3-2 in their second-last DStv Premiership for the season. Amakhosi are currently 10th on the league log.

Zwane said that he was honoured that the team has entrusted him with the responsibility to take over the team until the end of the season.

” It’s not difficult working with the team because I knows almost everyone, some I know from when they were as young as 13 years and now, they are 20 or 21 and I know that they are good players who can do well for the team, ” Zwane said.

The Amakhosi Diski Challenge coach who has been assistant to recently fired coach Gavin Hunt, said that playing against Arrows won’t be easy as they are a very good team with players who are good in attack. He also spoke well of Arrows coach, calling him a good coach.

“Despite all this we are not afraid because we know that when I arrived at Chiefs as a player they taught me about winning and results and I want to win the remaining two games in the season starting with the Arrows game to show that we know how important it is to work for the team and get results, ” Zwane said.
