Fortune Makaringe signs for Cape Town City. The former Orlando Pirates player is the latest player to be unveiled by Cape Town City.

Makaringe joins the Cape Town based club as a free agent following his departure from Pirates. He had played for the Buccaneers for 5 seasons.

Cape Town City confirmed the news in a short video clip on Friday morning.

“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder, Fortune Makaringe. The South African international signs a 3 year deal to bolster the midfield options ahead of the new season,” the club said.

City have also signed former Chippa United winger Kayden Francis.  The 21-year-old winger joins the Citizens on a 4-year deal, meanwhile attacking midfielder Haashim Domingo joined them on a three-year deal.
