Kaizer Chiefs have officially launched their kit for the 2023/2024 season. Reuniting with Kappa, the two trendsetters gathered the club’s legends, current squad and technical team, members of the media media, Chiefs Chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung Snr, and his family in Johannesburg on Tuesday evening to unveil the much-anticipated kit.
Following building up much anticipation within their faithful supporters and the nation, Amakhosi unveiled two captivating, brand new kits that are set to inspire the players and Amakhosi nation alike.
The evening that started with great drum beating and dancing, the African way, led by popular dancer Bontle Modiselle, finally saw the Gold & Black Home Kit and a Green & Gold Away Kit be unveiled to the packed Galleria.
The “marriage” between the Glamour Boys and the globally renowned Italian sportswear brand, Kappa, started back in 1989, and years later, the two have found their way back to each other. Chiefs announced Kappa’s return last year.
In addition to the chic home kit, Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa have also introduced a beguiling green and gold away kit for the upcoming season. Inspired by the natural beauty of South Africa, the green represents the lush landscapes of the nation.
