Former Mamelodi Sundowns player, Lesedi Kapinga has joined Orlando Pirates, the club announced on Tuesday in a short statement. Kapinga joins the Buccaneers on a three-year-deal.

The 28-year-old attacking midfielder, who recently played for Bafana Bafana in the COSAFA Cup, has been handed jersey number 21. He is expected to link up with his new teammates this week.

Speaking on the Orlando Pirates official website, Kapinga said, “I am pleased to join the Club. I’m not much of a talker because talk is cheap. All I’m focused on is to start training and working my way back to playing the game I love.”

Known for his flair, and creativity, Kapinga, who has also formerly played for Black Leopards, has 91 official matches under his belt, including 11 goals and 15 assists.
