Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Andile Jali has expressed gratitude to everyone who was involved in facilitating his move to Moroka Swallows.

Speaking after his move to The Dube Birds was announced on Friday, Jali said he was thankful to everyone who brought him to Swallows.

“I would like to thank everyone who brought me to Moroka Swallow. I am coming to a big team which is building,” said the 33-year-old Matatiele-born player.

Jali, who is reunited with former coach Steve Komphela at Sundowns, also said that he was ready to work for his spot at his new home.

“Nothing will be easy, I need to work hard to make the coach’s life easy, him being my former coach means nothing, we are here to work. If I don’t work hard, someone else will work and be given an opportunity.,” added Jali.

The seasoned player also added that he was hoping to get a shot at some silverware with the Dube Birds, saying that with the players the club has signed in this transfer window, and those from last season, “if we put our minds together something will come up,” he concluded.
