Following a disappointing show last Friday, South African national men’s football club, Bafana Bafana, have redeemed themselves and went through to secure a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations to be staged next year.
Bafana Bafana on Tuesday, beat Liberia 2-1 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, an all important match the squad needed to correct the mistakes they did at home soil.
Bafana drew 2-2 at home to Liberia last Friday , a match they were leading up until the last minutes of the match, where the visitors equalised. This had coach Broos disappointed, so much so he snubbed post-match interviews.
The national team returns back to South Africa on Wednesday evening.
