The City of Tshwane was covered in a sea of yellow as football fans packed the Loftus Versveld Stadium for the second leg of the CAF Champions League match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
Sundowns enjoyed home ground advantage for this thriller as the club called for the “Yellow Nation”, to come out in numbers to support their club. Fans were indeed not disappointed as Bafana ba Style dished out one goal after the other, beating the visitors 5-2.
The continuous singing had the stadium abuzz from start to finish, something which was appreciated by Sundowns coach, Rulani Mokwena, who congratulated and thanked the supporters for being the 12th player on the day.
