The FIFA World Cup kicks-off on Sunday evening and although South Africa’s National team, Bafana Bafana, failed to qualify, the nation will not be missing out on all the fun and action from Qatar, and this is thanks to Carling Black Label.

The leading global beer brand last week launched an exciting initiative that will have local soccer loving join in the activities- right here from Mzansi.
Carling Black Label through powerhouse events and communications company M-Sports Marketing, gathered media and soccer fans at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton last Thursday to launch a competition called the Carling Black Label Score Predictor where fans will stand a chance of winning over R1 million in Champion prizes by predicting the world cup scores.

Speaking at the launch, Carling Black Label Brand Director Arne Rust said that the home brewed beer will be South African alcoholic partner for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Also in attendance was Mamelodi Sundowns player Bongani Zungu, who shared his expectations for the upcoming games, while retired players Phumudzo Manenzhe, Mandla Masango and Hlompho Kekana also shared some of their predictions with Thomas Mlambo, who was the Programme director.
Social Media influencer Brown Mbobo represented the female supporters as she also shared her views and excitement for the upcoming tournament, while Rapper YoungstaCPT who has also been roped in by Carling, performed for the guests.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will be played from 20 November to 18 December in Qatar. It will be the 22nd edition of the competition, and the first played in the Arab world.
