The 0-1 loss to Richards Bay United on Wednesday night may have been the game that sealed the fate of now former AmaZulu FC coach, Brandon Truter, the club announced on Thursday that they had parted ways with Truter.
Usuthu, who are currently ninth on the DSTV Premeirship League Log with 11 points, roped in Truter just five months ago following the departure of Benni McCarthy, who was also released from his contract.

“He has impressed since taking over the reins following the departure of Benni McCarthy in March. However, the current season has proved difficult, and the team has recorded just three DStv Premiership wins,” said the statement.
The 52-year-old’s record is as follows: 19 games, seven wins, seven draws, and five losses.
The KwaZulu-Natal based club is yet to announce their new coach, they have however thanked the outgoing mentor for his “cooperation and hard work for the club and wish him luck in his future career.”
