Kaizer Chiefs have been blowing hot and cold since the start of the DStv Premiership season, and many of their faithful supporters wait with bated breath to see how Arthur Zwane and his players fare on Saturday against Pretoria side SuperSport United.
Chiefs host SuperSport United and former coach Gavin Hunt at the FNB Stadium, kickoff is at 3pm.
In their last game in the league, Chiefs drew one all with Marumo Gallants, this fixture may well be an opportunity for them to redeem themselves produce a decent score.
Speaking on Thursday during the club’s media day in Naturena, coach Arthur Zwane said that they were expecting a tough opponent in Matsatsanza aPitori.
He said that while he knows how coach Hunt plays, he saw and noted how he went to Maritzburg United and came back with the three points.
“We expect a tough opponent in SuperSport. They are a good and well organised side. We know how coach Gavin plans his games therefore we are expecting a lot of crosses into the box from both wing attackers and as well as a high pressing game. But we are ready for that. We are playing at home and we have to show that we can grind results as well, ” Zwane observed.
Zwane highlighted that his side is not in a panic mood because they are playing well and creating chances and the only thing missing is converting those chances to goals.
” You see once we start scoring those chances we create then all will change. I could have been worried of we were not playing well and not creating chances. But it’s just a matter of time and things will gel together. Look at the chances we created against Gallants? And what about against AmaZulu? We create chances and we need to take those chances to win games. If we can do that against SuperSport we can come out with three points and things can change, ” Zwane concluded.
