TS Galaxy suffered their first loss of the DStv Premiership this season in the hands of Cape Town City last Saturday, and The Rockets see their upcoming fixture as an opportunity to redeem themselves.
On Saturday they are coming up against Orlando Pirates, and midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi has said that it was about time they redeemed themselves and start winning games.
Villa, as he is also known, said that though they played well against City and created chances, the chances were not enough to win them the game.
“At least we had a week and few training sessions where we had to rectify those mistakes we made against City. It’s not going to be an easy game. They are playing well and they themselves are also trying to redeem themselves and they are playing at home. But on our side we are going to give our best and it will be an interesting match,” he said.
Vilakazi added that since they have not been winning games though they have not been conceding until the City game it was about time they start winning again.
” Yeah it’s time we look at our goals and be consistent and start winning games again so that we can reach our target. Given our task we will take one game at a time and this time it’s the Orlando Pirates one. Extremely difficult as you can imagine and of course the attendance at Orlando Stadium turns to be very good and we will want to use that to our advantage as well. We want to be in that space and enjoy the atmosphere but of course try to get a positive result from a game that I have said is very difficult,” he added.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder said that after beating Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United, expectations have been high and things will be no different when they play the Buccaneers.
Villa concluded by adding that he was not yet pleased with his personal contribution to the club he has just recently joined.
Kick-off is at 17:30pm
