Kaizer Chiefs suffered their third defeat in the DStv Premiership when they went down 2-0 to Cape Town City FC on Tuesday, they return to the Mother City yet again this weekend to face Stellenbosch FC in the MTN 8 quarterfinals. Kick off at the Danie Craven Stadium is 15:00pm.
Stellenbosch go into the game after suffering a 3-0 beating at the hands of the league’s defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, but Amakhosi coach Arthur Zwane believes this will be a different ball game all together.

Speaking to the media in Johannesburg this week, Zwane said, “They are a very good side but I think against Sundowns on Wednesday they rested most of their regular players which is understandable. That’s was expected because they want fresh legs when they play us in the MTN 8.”
“We know we are also coming from a loss but that does not determine the results in the forthcoming game. You know you play four games to win this trophy and we want to give our supporters something this season. We would like to start with the MTN 8. Of course it won’t be easy and that’s why we have to take one game at a time. We have put the loss to Cape Town City behind us; we are focusing on Stellenbosch in the MTN 8 now, “Zwane said.
