Sekhukhune United coach Kaitano Tembo has shared his thoughts following their one all draw against DStv Premiership defending Champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Peter Shalulile scored for the visitors, while Linda Mntambo equalised for Sekhukhune just after the start of the second half.

The former SuperSport United coach said that while they didn’t have a good start in the first half, they improved as the game progressed.

“Look I think first half we gave them too much respect. We didn’t start very well and we were only reacting to their movements, we were always second to the ball. But I think second half we changed and played like a team with more purpose and hence the equaliser,” said Tembo

Tembo continued, “But on transition we could have hurt them especially with good final decisions as well as quality on the ball. But I think overall we worked very hard and we had a good game, I am quite happy with the performance of the guys.”

Sekhukhune have a date with Swallows FC on Tuesday, 23 August at the Dobsonville Stadium, kick-off is at 19:30pm.
