DSTV Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns settled to share spoils with Limpopo side Sekhukhune United on Saturday afternoon.

Sekhukhune, who were seemingly the underdogs going to today’s match managed to sneak in a goal just after the second half of the match, this was after the visitor netted one just before the end of the first stanza.

Sundowns’ Peter Shalulile found the back of the net for the Brazilians, his third goal for the season, meanwhile Linda Mntambo scored for Sekhukhune, scoring himself the Man of the Match accolade.

It will be back to the drawing board for Sundowns, who went to this match on a high following their 4-0 beating to Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus last weekend.

Their focus will now shift to Wednesday’s clash against Stellenbosch United at Loftus, while Sekhukhune will travel to the Dobsonville Stadium to face Swallows FC on Tuesday, the 23rd. Kick-off for both these matches is 17:00pm and 19:30pm respectively.
