Sekhukhune United Striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has said that they have to lift their heads up when they face DStv Premiership league defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday. Coming from a tricky match against PSL rookies Richards Bay United, Mabasa admitted that while they played well, the results were not on their side.
“We come from a very difficult game against Richards Bay, we didn’t take our chances and we were punished for that but it happens. It’s part of football. We just have to lift our heads up and continue to work hard because at the end of the day we have to keep on playing,” he said.
Added Mabasa, “This weekend we are up against the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and it’s a game that every player looks forward to in a football calendar. So we have to go out there enjoy the moment and give it our all. The supporters can expect that the boys will show hunger and determination to win the game. And I am asking them to come in numbers and support the team, “Mabasa concluded.
