KwaZulu Natal side, AmaZulu FC have entrusted coach Brandon Truter to see them through the remaining seven matches of the current DSTV Premiership season.
Usuthu, who are currently ninth on the league log, parted ways with former coach Benni McCarthy, owner Sandile Zungu announced on Friday. He also stressed the point that the club and coach Benni parted ways amicably.
In a statement released on Sunday, the club said, “AmaZulu FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandon Truter as interim head coach with immediate effect until the end of the current 2021/2022 season. We look forward to competing in the league with the remaining 7 games left.”
“The search for the head coach to lead the team beyond this season has commenced and should be finalised before the end of April.”
Truter was released by Swallows FC earlier this season following a series of bad results.
