Cape Town City FC coach Eric Tinkler is hoping for an opportunity to register three points when his side meets up with Swallows FC.  Speaking ahead of the match, Tinkler said that his side will have to bounce back after their 3-0 loss to Stellenbosch last weekend. Swallows host City in a DStv Premiership encounter on Friday evening at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.

The recent development in the coaching department at Swallows could work to an advantage for Tinkler and his charges, Swallows announced this week that their heach coach Brandon Truter was placed on special leave due to personal reasons. Assistant coach Simo Dladla has been put in charge of the team on an interim basis
“It was a bad loss against Stellenbosch mainly looking at the way we conceded the goals but we knows it won’t be easy playing Swallows who have just had changes in their technical department and have a new coach now. We are facing them in the league on Friday and four days later we play them again in the MTN 8 semifinals second leg but right now our priority is on this league game and we are going there for the three points, ” Tinkler concluded.
