SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo has that they were very positive in their DStv Premiership goalless draw with AmaZulu FC on Tuesday afternoon.
Tembo said they played very well and they deserved to win knowing that it is always difficult to go to AmaZulu and come back with a point.
“I am proud of my players and how they showed up for the game. I am happy that after three games in the league we have kept two clean sheets and only conceded one goal which means that the defence is doing very well,” Tembo said.
The Zimbabwean born coach said that they however miss Luke Fluer who was red carded in this game but said that this is why they brought in Buhle Mkhwanazi because they knew there are going to be injuries and suspensions along the way in the season.
“Now our next focus is the game against Swallows FC on Sunday who are another tough side to play against but we are going to take a rest and then prepare to face the Birds on Sunday,” Tembo concluded.
