If given a chance to choose, Chippa United head coach Gavin Hunt would have loved to continue playing and maintain the form they had when they won one match and at least draw the other.
Chippa are yet to lose a match in the current season, they beat PSL newbies Sekhukhune United and held league defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. They face Royal AM on Sunday and coach Hunt says he would have loved to continue playing after the draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.
“The FIFA break came at a point where we were playing very well and had discovered our form and had we continued playing, it wound have been a good thing. We knew that the FIFA break will come, and it has helped us work on other aspects of our game in the team which will help us going forward, ” Hunt said.
Hunt added that facing Royal AM won’t be an easy task as they have kept bulk of Bloemfontein Celtic players and that they are a good team.
” We will go there looking for a good result as we are playing away although we know that Royal AM have lost both their games but they are a good team as they kept the Celtic team which plays good football and losing the opening games doesn’t mean they are bad, ” said Hunt.
Talking about his team Hunt said that they need to just work on the striking force as they have done well as a team defensively and that as a team they should work together again offensively.
