Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has welcomed an opportunity to move away from a place he has played football for ten years. Katsande was released from Kaizer Chiefs last week and has already secured a move elsewhere. He has joined Sekhukhune United FC.

The 35-year-old said it was a  great opportunity for him to play in a different environment after spending ten years at Naturena where he won a number of trophies including two league titles, MTN 8, Nedbank Cup and Telkom Knockout.

The Zimbabwean said this soon after being unveiled by Sikhukhune United as their new signing.

“I am not at Babina Noko to just add numbers but am here to compete and make sure that I help the team. I have  seen that the team has assembled a very good squad and with the players from last season who helped the team gain promotion there will be a good mixture of youth and experience which will help the team, ” Katsande said.

He called upon Babina Noko supporters and all football loving people to support the team as they show that they can compete in the elite league of the country.
