Newly appointed Golden Arrows coach Lehlohonolo Seema has high hopes for his new club and wants the team to surpass what they achieved last season. The team has started pre-season camp ahead of the Dstv Premiership forthcoming season.
Seema, who joined Arrows from Chippa United, said that he was thankful to the Arrows Chairlady Mato Madlala for giving him the opportunity to work with the team and amazing players. Arrows finished on a historical third position last season.
“I will continue working with the same technical team and support staff that was here last season and that’s why I didn’t bring in my own technical team. I will continue to work with coach Mabhuti and Eduardo and all the staff that was here last season. They did a great job together and we should continue working together to achieve even more than the team achieved last season, ” Seama said.
The former Orlando Pirates defender said that in his first training session with the team he saw that there was team spirit and brotherhood amongst the players, and that he wanted them to continue with that spirit and do even better this year around.
“I would also like to thank coach Mandla Ncikazi for the great foundation which he has led for the team and I promise to keep things going. We want to improve on what he started and make things even much better this season,” he concluded.
