What would have been an opportunity to secure a spot in the top eight has now become a battle to end the season above the relegation play-off position for Kaizer Chiefs.
An early lead couldn’t guarantee Kaizer Chiefs a win over “relegation-prone” Black Leopards when the two teams met this afternoon in their DSTV Premiership clash played at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
Chiefs took an early lead in the 10th minute via a goal from Leonardo Castro, but this was seemingly not good enough to secure a win. Leopards came back from behind to win the match.
Reflecting on the match, Hunt said that his players worked hard on the field. Hunt added that he and his team would have to keep going to see through the remaining two games of the current season.
